– Joan C. Tronto, Moral Boundaries: A Political Argument for an Ethic of Care
Hello! I am a teacher-scholar working at the intersections of multilingual education, writing studies, and critical pedagogies.
As a professor of English at Crafton Hills College, I primarily teach first-year composition and noncredit multilingual literacies courses. I also serve as the ZTC Multilingual Faculty Lead, where part of my charge is growing the Multilingual Noncredit Program as well as developing Open Educational Resources (OER) and Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) resources for our students.
My work appears in Teaching English in the Two-Year College. I am also a coauthor of the chapter, “Writing to be Seen and Needing to be Heard: Writing as Emergency from the Perspective of the SBCCD Asian and Pacific Islander Association,” in Writing Emergencies: Composing (Ourselves) in Times of Crisis, edited by Holly Hassel and Kate Pantelides.
In my downtime, I enjoy gardening and cooking.
